There’s a bittersweet taste lingering on my tongue
An indecisiveness that overwhelms my thoughts
This dark water spills in and out my lungs
A bloody battle inside that needs to be fought
Unable to face it, paralyzed in a middle ground
You leave me frozen, bewildered and spellbound
